28th November 2005. Statoil is Europe's second largest Oil and Gas producer. Headquartered in Norway, Statoil has recently
placed a major order for JACK development and runtime
and Consulting services. Statoil plans to
develop new solutions within its oil trade and operation area, using JACK Intelligent Agents to solve
planning and process control problems. Further opportunities may exist for JACK beyond
this system with plans to explore usage within other areas including gas operation and remote monitoring
of production facilities.

24th November 2004. Agent Oriented Software, world leader in the new generation of intelligent agent technology, won the UK Trade and Investment Internatioal Business Award for New Business Entrant.
Melbourne, Australia, 6th July 2004. In a world first, truly autonomous, Intelligent Agent-controlled flight was achieved by a Codarra ‘Avatar’ unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The flight tests were conducted in restricted airspace at the Australian Army’s Graytown Range about 60 miles north of Melbourne. The Avatar was guided by an on-board JACK™ intelligent software agent that directed the aircraft’s autopilot during the course of the mission.
